St. Martin de Porres,

True Humility

July 9, Mat. 11:25-30

0 B220Ash MedArt 18 EN 4c

Our Gospel reading is indicative of Jesus’ approach to religion and discipleship. He wants us not to seek out places of power and distinction.

For Jesus, authentic faith and discipleship begins with the “little ones” and those burdened. It is in their space that we find the wisdom of God and the active presence of God relieving their plight.

A-Men’s Club Workday at All Saints Parish

Some members of our A-Men’s Club helped accomplish some projects this past Saturday on our work day. They were able to do some landscape work (mulch and pull overgrown trees) and erect some parking protectors for our ramp/railing at St. Joe’s.
