Free NAMI classes on mental illness to start September 9th at Old North Church in Evansville
Classes are designed for family/ friends of someone living with bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), schizoaffective disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks or anxiety disorder. Participants gain skills and information.
Classes are offered by NAMI Evansville in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness. There is no charge for classes or materials.
When: Beginning Monday, September 9th for eleven (11) Monday nights in a row.
Start time is 6:45 p.m. Classes end at 9:00 p.m.
Where: Old North U.M. Church, 4201 Stringtown Rd. (across from Alexander North)
