The Catholic Church celebrates several seasons during our Liturgical year. These seasons not only help us mark the time during the year, but offer us the opportunity to focus our thoughts and prayers and more fully understand the mystery of Jesus Christ.
The Advent Season, our time to prepare for the coming of Christ, is celebrated for 4 weeks prior to Christmas. During this season, All Saints Parish offers Advent Day. Advent Day is held on a Sunday in Advent for prayer and to prepare crafts and Christmas cards for our Homebound parishioners and residents in several area nursing homes.
The Lent Season, our time to prepare for Easter, is celebrated for 40 days, beginning with Ash Wednesday. Lent Day is held on a Sunday during Lent for parishioners to gather for prayer and to prepare crafts and Easter cards for our Homebound parishioners.
