As we gather on this very beautiful feast of Pentecost we are reminded that God has not abandoned us but has left us the gift of the Holy Spirit as an advocate and guide. Negotiating our lives and living the Gospel can sometimes be difficult tasks. We are not always sure how to act or where to turn. We stand a better chance of obtaining greater clarity and focus and discerning what direction to take when we use the gifts of the Holy Spirit that we have been given.
