God is love. These three simple words deserve a great deal of attention. They have the power to transform our relationship with God from something that is static and distant to one that is personal and real. We all know the power of love and how important it is to completing all of the human and divine circuits of our lives. But we do not often consider the awesome fact that it is given to us as a gift and is not simply part and parcel of the human package. God is the author of love and love itself. When we truly love another human being, it is really God being God in and through us. The love to which we are called and the love of which the Gospel speaks is a selfless love that seeks the wellbeing of not only our significant others but of all of our brothers and sisters. This love, which is of God, is a love that will endure all things and bring immeasurable joy when experienced. It is the most sincere form of friendship.

VIVIR LA LITURGIA ~ INSPIRACIÓN DE LA SEMANA (Live the Liturgy)
Dios es amor. Estas tres sencillas palabras merecen mucha atención. Tienen el poder de transformar nuestra relación con Dios de algo estático y distante a algo personal y real. Todos conocemos el poder del amor y lo importante que es para completar todos los circuitos humanos y divinos de nuestras vidas. Pero a menudo no consideramos el hecho asombroso de que se nos da como un regalo y no es simplemente una parte integral del paquete humano. Dios es el autor del amor y Él mismo es amor. Cuando realmente amamos a otro ser humano, realmente es Dios siendo Dios en nosotros y a través de nosotros. El amor al que somos llamados y el amor del que habla el Evangelio es un amor desinteresado que busca el bienestar no solo de nuestros seres queridos, sino de todos nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Este amor, que es de Dios, es un amor que soportará todas las cosas y traerá un gozo inconmensurable cuando se experimente. Es la forma de amistad más sincera.
