Living the Eucharist offers us a way to encounter Christ more deeply in the sacrament. We will learn more about the Eucharist, find out how we can participate more actively in Sunday Mass, and discover how to let the light of Christ shine brightly after we leave Mass.
Small groups for adults will meet once a week during each week of Lent, beginning the week of February 11. You and your group will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss various topics related to the Sunday Mass. You will also learn about a beautiful form of prayer called Lectio Divina, which means “Diving Reading”, and every week you will have the opportunity to pray over a Scripture passage for the upcoming Sunday Mass using this method. Each group member will receive a Participant Booklet which also contains an informative teaching about the Mass.
All materials will be available after all Masses the weekend of February 3-4 for pick-up. We will have a special kick-off for our small groups to meet with each other on Sunday, February 4 at 12:00 pm (noon) in the St. Anthony Church. Join us for Coffee and Cookies and meet your fellow small group partners!
Our Parish is a community of faith. Through Living the Eucharist, we can grow in our faith in Jesus Christ and live more fully as his disciples. We ask for your participation and for your prayers for God’s blessing on our Parish as we prepare for Lent.
