This year, we also will highlight Ray Wilson of Faith in Place who will present on, “Thriving Faith Communities, How to Save Energy and Money.” By focusing on their use of energy and even the installation of solar, faith communities can save significant dollars. Those attending Ray’s breakout session will learn the basics and receive tips on energy conservation and see how other congregations have succeeded in energy savings as well as becoming more earth friendly.
About our keynote – John Mundell, as an environmental businessman, has been a leader in advocating for a sustainable economy. John founded his company, MUNDELL, in 1995 as part of the Economy of Communion in Freedom (EoC) network of companies. Launched in Brazil in 1991, the EoC represents a new paradigm in business and economics, where participating companies foster a ‘communitarian’ approach to the redistribution of profits to those in need. Consisting of over 1200 small- to mid-size businesses in over 50 countries, the EoC’s business owners promote a culture of giving and social justice through businesses animated with the values of universal fraternity. As part of his EoC involvement, John currently serves on both the International EoC Commission and the North American EoC Advisory Board.
