A-Men’s Club

The meeting was August the 26th. We had a huge turnout of 24 guys attending.

Meeting started at 6 pm we started with a prayer then enjoyed pizza from Gardos.

There were 5 subjects we discussed as follows

1. Fall festival booth the   towing to the church and the towing and setting up the booth on the Sunday of the Fall Festival we need volunteers all week and I thanked them for their dedication. 

2. Josh Neidig’s and the amazing progress of renovating the gym. His dedication and hard work was recognized.

3. Talk about the One block at a time which is cleaning up the neighborhood around the church campus. We decided to have an A-menss workday on Saturday September 7th at 8am. Bring supplies ie gloves, trash bags, weed eater’s for the overgrown sidewalk areas.

4. Getting volunteers to grill out and help at the Picnic on September 22nd.

5. We had $4200 in our account. We gave donations to Aurora, Ozanam, All Saints Parish Soup Kitchen, All Saints Parish Clothes Closet and we are buying Menards gift cards for our event on September 7th. 16 -$25 cards to pass out to the neighbors we see. 

Next meeting will be October 15th at 6pm in the cafeteria.
