Family Faith Formation

2024-2025 Family Faith Formation begins!

Registration forms can be found online or available from Kristi Wagner or Sharon Vogler. Please bring your registration forms with you to our first session on Sunday, August 18th. Our second session will be on Sunday, August 25th. This is out of routine for us. We typically meet every other Sunday.
I am looking forward to a great Family Faith season! This year we will be learning more about the virtue of Hope.
How appropriate as Pope Francis will begin a jubilee year in 2025 – Pilgrims of Hope?!

Our sessions begin with a pitch in breakfast beginning at 8:30 am in the cafeteria.
You can bring anything from donuts, to a casserole, to fresh fruit, bagels, etc. However, you do not have to bring
something. Cereal, milk, juice and granola bars are provided.
We then share our lesson from 9 – 10:15 am.

Your catechist team this year includes Janie Allen, Terri Berg, Nancy Reinhart, Kristi Wagner and me. Thank you to this group of catechists for returning for our new year!

If you are considering joining us for the first time, know that there are many blessings of Family Faith Formation…
all age groups learn and share together, the insights and faith of all age groups is amazing, we all get to know each other/other members of our parish. If you ask some of the little people, they may say the blessings are the activities, crafts, the donuts, the breakfast casserole or having grandma come to Family Faith with them. Family Faith Formation is a place where you will see intergenerational religious education/formation in practice.
In the past several years, we have seen our young people develop relationships with some of us older members of the parish who are not part of their family. I feel that can only strengthen the life of our parish.
If you have a child in second grade who will be making their First Communion this year, your family is to participate in Family Faith Formation.
