Pilgrim Outreach

Thirteen Southern Justice Pilgrims worshipped with Mt. Olive Galilee Baptist Church Sunday June 23rd. Our picture shows some of the young people who traveled the same locations the year before our trip this spring to Selma, Birmingham and Montgomery. Also, front and center is Jessie Sellers who attended the City of St. Jude schools and church as a child, one of the places we visited and found so inspiring. On Sunday we spent some time talking with the men’s Bible study group and attended the worship service which was very powerful. After the service we had a chance to share stories and we were able to thank Mt. Olive for making the experience deeper and more meaningful.
