Jesus emphasizes to us this Sunday that we must practice a religion of the heart. All the things that accompany our practice of religion – the rituals, clothing, the altar things, the prayers and dogmas – if they do not help transform our hearts, it’s pretty useless. And if you want to know where your heart resides, follow your wallet and who gets your time.
