Your Faith has Saved You

Nine disappeared and one came back. We have the story of the ten lepers this weekend who were healed and only the Samaritan leper came back to praise God and Jesus. The story obviously is about gratitude, but on a deeper level it is a story that expresses what is most important in Jesus’ eyes. The other nine lepers were cured and went home. The Samaritan saw the work of God in his healing and then placed Jesus and God above all else in his life. His life was changed forever acknowledged by Jesus when he said “your faith has saved you”. Jesus’ hope is that we will do the same.
