A Willing Heart

This Sunday, we hear about Jesus calling the first disciples. Andrew and Simon immediately drop their fishing nets and begin to follow him.

You have to wonder how they could do that to follow this unknown person. It probably says a lot about who Jesus was, but it does say also something about Simon and Andrew. They were willing. Maybe that’s the crux of the message. All that Jesus needs from us is a willing heart to accept His invitation.
