Let Your Light Shine

Feb. 5 Mat 5:13-16

Last Sunday, Jesus gave us the beatitudes, the foundation for the new covenant that has displaced Moses’ Ten Commandments. What follows is this week’s teaching, his imperative that we be salt of the earth and to let our light shine. His disciples are to be living signs of hope and God’s love in this dark world. This is not a secret wisdom, but a way of life that brings others to God. So, let your light shine!
