The passion of Jesus is both the lowest point we can reach in our humanity. Jesus, a completely innocent man, is betrayed and condemned, cruelly tortured, and dies a horrible death.
It is a scene repeated again and again in the human experience. Yet, Jesus willingly submits to this fate, but with purpose.
