The Trinity
June 4, John 3:16-18
Most appropriately, after celebrating the Holy Spirit, this Sunday we focus on the Trinity. The Trinity is totally in the realm of mystery, but what it definitively says about us is that our destiny is to be intimately held within that community of love.
God created us, God the Son saved us, and their Holy Spirit is now active in drawing us into that life of love. The challenge our Gospel throws out to us this weekend is can we believe in the Son and live in His Spirit.
