Who do you say that I am?
Aug. 27 Mt 16:13-20
Who do you say that I am? This is the question Jesus poses to his apostles in this Sunday’s Gospel. It is also the most important question that we need to answer in our lifetime.
How we answer it will form the kind of person we become and the level of happiness we will attain. And obviously, it has consequences for life in the next world as well. It would do us well to ponder more on that question and what authority we allow Jesus over our lives.
