Christ the King
Mt. 25: 31-46
This Sunday we celebrate the feast of Christ the King. King… He is but what kind of king is the question.
The kingdom of God where Jesus reigns is nothing like the kingdoms that prevail in this world. Jesus’ throne is the cross. He rules not by power, but by powerlessness and unconditional love.
The message for us is that we are meant to share that in kingship and live forever in His kingdom. Our entry is to pick up our own cross of love and follow in His footsteps.
