The World’s Troubles

Mark 1:29-39

How do we deal with all the suffering and evil we see and encounter in our world. It is devastating to see what’s happening in the Holy Land and in places like Ukraine. In our own lives, we encounter and at times are on the receiving end of evil acts. Jesus’ response to it is to heal and preach that God’s love is always near. Jesus is a torrent of love that goes out without conditions even to the point of offering His life on the cross.

We are called to the same.

We are called to love exemplified by the loving sacrifice of the cross.

The only cure to evil and the pain of this world is a disciple’s love.
