Grace in All Things

Mark 6:1-6

What is most close to us is often what we most take for granted or even dismiss. Jesus is not accepted in his hometown because they think they know who he is. They can’t get past that he is the carpenter’s son. We too often bring our prejudices and our preconceptions to things and situations. Grace, though, has a way of coming from the very place we least look for it. The good disciple knows there is a spiritual lesson in all things.
