The Vine and the Branch

John 15:1-8

On the spiritual and physical level, there is only one reality that should totally occupy us, love. Our true destiny is to love in a divine way as Jesus did. He gave everything and ushered in a new beginning and life for all of us. Like a vine drawing its life source from the branch, we too must draw from this well of divine love that is Jesus and likewise bring life into our world. It’s all about the sort of love represented by the cross and the grace of God that guides and empowers us to that level of love.
