Women in Ministry News

We always start our meetings with prayer and a pitch in of snacks promptly at 6:00pm.  

-CAJE- We shared a brief history of CAJE and discovered who was already in an active team. We had an informal house meeting, thank you for sharing your insight on current community issues tonight, if you belong to another group please share with your team leader in the upcoming house meetings they will be offering.

-Discussed having a dance at the parish.  This idea came up from one of our parishioners.  There is still more that needs to be discussed to get this planned out. As you think of this please share your thoughts and ideas on this and how we can orchestrate something like this.

-Discussed high level– movie night for the kids in December, Christmas Party Dec.17th-location TBD, CHRP in February, Stations of the Cross during Lent, possibly praying the rosary in a nursing home. Continue sending out cards to our parishioners who are 80 and over. If you have ideas that you think women’s ministry could do please let us know, we are always open to do God’s work to help others.

-We welcomed 3 new people to our group, we are truly blessed to have these ladies join us.  17 women in total were at tonight’s meeting.  We closed promptly at 7:30pm with prayer.

-Next women’s mtg Sept. 30th  6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Fr. Niehaus Room
