Saint Bernard Summer Social on Sunday, August 18

Experience great food, raffles and family games at the Saint Bernard Summer Social in Rockport, Indiana, Sunday, August 18. Faux Turtle Soup will be sold by the gallon starting at 11:00 a.m. CDT. Homemade Fried chicken and roast beef dinners for dine-in or carryout begin at 11:00 a.m. in the air conditioned St. Bernard gym. Homemade dumplings will also be served. Burgers, brats, tenderloins and soup by the bowl will be served in the food court. Drive through dinner carryout is available at 6th & Williamson. The grounds will feature games for all ages, cake wheel, money wheel, pull tabs, homemade ice cream, snacks and soft drinks.

Raffles include the quilt raffle, grocery raffle, canopy raffle, adirondack chairs raffle, the big money raffle with the top prize of $1,000.00, and the annual classic car raffle with the top prize being a 1966 Corvette Convertible. Car tickets are $30 each or 4 for $100. Car tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 812-649-9113 and more information can be found at www.stbernardcorvette.org. Tickets will also be on sale at the social up to the drawing. Raffle drawings will be held at 3:00 p.m. CDT. Indiana License #002405.
