Imagine if you couldn’t see; imagine all the visual wonders that you would miss because your vision was so poor. For some, having glasses is a luxury they can’t afford.

GROWTH Ministry came out of a lot of discussions last summer and fall as we were looking at the Community Meal/Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet operations. Our current outreach is every Wednesday from 9:30 to noon. One area we wanted to offer went beyond direct charity and moved into assistance that moved a person toward a more stable life.

Many months ago, anyone who was interested was invited to join us for a new ministry here at All Saints Parish. At that time, we were calling the ministry, Hand Up. It is to be a justice ministry to help serve the needs of our neighbors who we see at the Community Meal/Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet on Wednesday mornings.

All Saints Parish’s Clothes Closet currently can use:

• empty medicine bottles that we fill with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
• travel size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
• Men & women’s belts,

The weather is getting colder. We are in need of

• winter clothing,
• heavy coats (xl, 1x-4x),
• hats
• scarves
• blankets
• empty and cleaned medicine bottles
• underwear and socks for all sizes
• men’s pants
• men’s shirts,

A new ministry… Hand Up

As you know, our Wednesday mornings offer a Community Meal for lunch and a Clothes Closet.
These two ministries are charity ministries. Lunch and clothing items are given to people in need.
